Research activities at Eduardo Mondlane University are governed by international ethical standards:
Compliance with Code of Ethics;
Institutionalization of an Ethics Committee;
Acknowledgement of intellectual property;
Adherence to principles underlying scientific literature and research methodology.; and
A comprehensive knowledge and mastery with regard to relevant tools inherent to the scholar´s research line, extension and consultancy activities.
Eduardo Mondlane University Research Ethics Committee is the body responsible for verifying and overseeing ethical, deontological and methodological aspects of research initiatives and activities which include coordinating and monitoring the implementation of protocols or projects including activities regarding scientific and Academic Units subcommittees at UEM.
