Prospective students

Eduardo Mondlane University offers 204 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including: 104  Bachelor´s degrees, 85 Master´s degrees and 15 Doctorate degrees.

Admission to bachelor´s degree programmes at Eduardo Mondlane University is by means of entrance exam, which takes place at the beginning of each year. For further information regarding entrance exams refer to: https://admissao.uem.mz

Admission to postgraduate programmes at Eduardo Mondlane University is through application at the faculty or school offering the desired programme.

  • Distance Learning

Distance learning has strategically been designed as a response to high demand for higher education training programmes.  It is implemented through Distance Learning Centre (CEND) – https://ensino.uem.mz In collaboration with the Faculties and Schools within Eduardo Mondlane University.

Eduardo Mondlane University is currently offering bachelor´s and master´s degree Programmes:

  • Bachelor degree programme in Business Management (LGN) – Faculty of Economics
  • Bachelor degree programme in Public Administration (LAP) – Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing and Public Relations – (LMRP) – School of Communication and Arts
  • Bachelor degree in Organization and Education Management (LOGED) – Faculty of Education)
  • Master´s degree in Animal Husbandry (MPA) – Faculty of Veterinary;
  • Master´s degree in Public Health (MSP)- Faculty of Medicine;

Admission to both distance learning and classroom-based learning fall under the same criteria. Thus, applicants of undergraduate programmes have to undergo entrance exams. Unlike postgraduate degree programmes where only application to the programme is applicable. 

  • Academic Mobolity to UEM

Both short and long-term mobility are covered by mobility programmes and projects as well as cooperation agreements between governments and higher education institutions.
