UEM League

Every year, Eduardo Mondlane University holds an internal sports championship called the UEM League through its Academic Center for Sports and Physical Education Development (A-CDDEF).

 This competition is part of the A-CDDEF’s activity plan, as a way of diversifying extracurricular and cultural activities, contributing to the socialization and interaction of students, teachers, researchers, and the Technical and Administrative Staff (CTA).

Period and Location

The UEM League takes place between March to November each year, encompassing basketball, soccer, futsal, volleyball, and chess, for both female and male players.

The program takes place at the University main Campus in Maputo, where, besides the faculties and schools based in Maputo, other institutions participate, attracting around 1,200 participants.
