Scientific Conference
The Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) Scientific Conference is a prestigious biennial forum that is open to contributions from a range of disciplines. The objective of the conference is to disseminate the findings of research conducted by faculty members, researchers and students from UEM and other national and international institutions. The event also creates opportunities for establishing contacts, partnerships and interaction between researchers. The Conference is typically held in plenary sessions, thematic sessions and round tables, in addition to symposia with specific themes, which are organised by the Faculties, Schools and Centres of UEM.
Each edition of the UEM Scientific Conference is always subject to a specific theme, discerningly chosen on the basis of global trends, the country’s priorities and the UEM’s strategic guidelines.
