Laboratories

The establishment of laboratories across different academic units, faculties, schools and centres is intended to meet the needs of students, teachers, researchers and other stakeholders interested in carrying out scientific research ranging from basic to clinical. The laboratories facilitate the execution of activities pertaining to teaching, research and extension, in addition to the advancement of knowledge and training of individuals in their respective areas of interest.

UEM’s laboratories are distinguished by their unique characteristics in terms of typology, user profile and purpose. These facilities can be used exclusively for teaching, learning, research or extension purposes, and in some cases multidisciplinary use.

The UEM laboratories are open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in accordance with standard business opening hours. Should users desire to remain within the laboratory premises beyond the opening hours, that can be taken into consideration, if relevant authorisation has been obtained from the laboratory manager in advance.
