The Regional Centre of Excellence in Oil and Gas Engineering and Technology Studies (CS-OGET) is an autonomous research unit at Eduardo Mondlane University, with a supplementary teaching function. It enjoys scientific, administrative, patrimonial and financial autonomy in accordance with the applicable legislation.

CS-OGET is committed to the general objectives of Eduardo Mondlane University, focusing primarily on scientific research while delivering teaching, extension services and support to UEM and the community.
